Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal data, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

Last updated: 13 July 2026

1. Who we are

O-zone CommV (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. Our details are at the end of this policy. We are based in Ieper, Belgium, and we process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian law.

2. What personal data we collect

Enquiries. When you use our contact form, or email or call us, we receive the details you choose to share: your name, company, email address, phone number and message. Note that our contact form opens an email in your own mail application; we only receive the email once you send it.

Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and on-page interactions). Analytics is switched off by default and only runs after you click “Accept” on our cookie notice.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data (such as IP address and request details) to keep the site running and secure.

Free tools. Our free tools (SEO audit, GEO checker, ROI calculator, policy builder) run entirely in your browser. Anything you enter into them is not sent to us or stored by us.

3. Why we use your data, and the legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and provide our services - on the basis of taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
  • To measure and improve the site (analytics) - on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To operate and secure the website - on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar storage. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, acting as our processors: our website host, our email provider, and Google (for Google Analytics and Google Fonts). Each processes data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

6. International transfers

Some providers (such as Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our records, then delete it. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings (typically up to 14 months).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@o-zone.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No website can be completely secure, but we work to keep the risk low.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
